Please check "Stock Status" on our website. It may take us one or two days to ship your order because of current high product demand. Orders received after 3:00 pm CST will not be processed until the following business day.


Payment Information
WiebeTech accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. All orders are processed through our secure server. When ordering, your credit card will not be charged unless your order is within two business days of being shipped.

Payment is also accepted through Paypal (available in the shopping cart).

Please be advised that if you are using an international credit card, we require you to send a clear fax or scan of the front and back of your credit card. This protects both our customers and WiebeTech from fraudulent credit card numbers used on international orders. You may also choose to pay by Paypal (available in the shopping cart) or wire transfer. Contact accounting if you need wire information.

Improvement of products
WiebeTech reserves the right to improve/enhance our products at any time, without warning. In this situation, the improved/enhanced products will replace whatever products that may have been ordered by the customer. The replacement will be noted on customer's invoice, which will reference the correct part numbers and description for what was shipped, rather than what was ordered.

Shipping in USA
All shipping charge calculations are based on weight. Typical charges are shown below for a 5 pound package:

UPS Ground -- $9.00
UPS 2nd Day Air -- $18.50
UPS Next Day Air Saver -- $40.25
UPS Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico Economy -- $25.30

Heavier packages will cost more and lighter packages will cost less.


APO Addresses

APO addresses can be shipped by Priority Mail only.Priority Mail does not have a tracking number. However, we will insure the product which will generate an insurance tracking number. This tracking number is only good until it reaches the US destination.

WiebeTech is located in Wichita, KS - Therefore sales tax must be added to orders to Kansas customers.

As of June 18, 2007 WiebeTech must begin collecting Virginia Sales Tax to sales in Virgina.

As of January 2, 2008, WiebeTech must begin collecting taxes to sales in California, Missouri, and Washington.

The sales tax listed on the checkout page is only an estimate. The final total sales tax will be reflected on your invoice and will include state and local sales taxes. If you have questions about the taxes on your order, please call us toll free at 1-866-744-8722.



Shipping to Canada
All shipping charge calculations are based on weight. Typical charges are shown below for a 5 pound package:

You are responsible for duty and broker charges, if any. In the event that we are later charged for brokerage or duty fees we will bill them back to your credit card. We have occasionally been billed by the freight company for duty charges many months after delivery of the package; your credit card will still be charged. IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY THESE CHARGES, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER. Occasionally brokerage fees for Canada have been higher than expected.

Privacy and email address policy
We do not share any information you provide us with any commerical or non-governmental party. Your email address will be used to contact you with an electronic copy of your invoice and your tracking information. It will also be used to provide you with occasional future product updates from WiebeTech. You may have your name removed from this list at anytime by sending an email to kathy@wiebetech.com, who personally manages the list. You will also receive removal instructions whenever we send an informational email to you. You may also enter a comment when you place the order ("please don't enter my email address into your customer list database", or anything similar) and we will of course abide by your wishes. This policy is separate and distinct from the policies of Yahoo, which is our previous eStore provider. All orders now go through our own system and our policies.

Tech Support - Service and returns policies
This policy is designed to clarify the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) procedures of WiebeTech LLC. This policy is effective immediately and will be adhered to at the time of posting on this web site.

Have a backup strategy!

Our warranty does not include costs associated with data loss (nor do the warranties of other drive enclosure manufacturers). If you do not have an effective backup strategy, you may not be able to recover your data, or the cost of recovery may be quite expensive. Our business is for you to have a great backup strategy. Refunds/Returns

Request RMA: During the first fourteen (14) days from the invoice date, a product may be returned to WiebeTech on a "No questions asked" basis. The customer must first obtain a RMA number from WiebeTech's Technical Support Department by contacting tech support.

Cost of shipping returned goods are to be assumed by the consumer.

Since the customer chooses to return the product(s) rather than have them repaired or replaced, no shipping charges will be reimbursed to the customer for products returned for a refund.

Restocking fees: Any product returned after 14 days is subject to restocking fees of:
14-30 days after purchase: 10%
30-60 days after purchase: 25%
After 60 days: 50%
After 90 days: Returns not accepted

No refunds or exchanges will be made on WiebeTech products that were not purchased directly from WiebeTech by phone, FAX or WiebeTech's web store.


Repairs/Replacements

Request RMA:

Any product deemed by WiebeTech as faulty or in need of repair or replacement may be returned to WiebeTech by process of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The customer must first obtain a RMA number from WiebeTech's Technical Support Department by sending an email to Tech Support

RMA forms will be emailed after issuing an RMA number and must be completed and returned with the product(s) being returned. In order to complete the RMA form, customers will need to provide proof of purchase, current shipping information, current phone number and or other information deemed as relevant by WiebeTech. The customer's complete return shipping and contact information including phone number must be included. Post Office box numbers are not acceptable for return shipping information.

RMA numbers that are issued by WiebeTech are valid for 14 days only. After that time a new RMA number must be requested.

Shipping to WiebeTech: RMA numbers must be written clearly and legibly on the outside of the package containing the returned product(s). Any product returned without a RMA number will be held for a period of time deemed appropriate by WiebeTech and then declared abandoned if contact with the sender cannot be made, and may be disposed of in any manner seen fit by WiebeTech.

Cost of shipping goods for repair or replacement are to be assumed by the customer unless arrangements are made in advance. If WiebeTech agrees to pay for shipping costs, only Commercial Carrier Grounds rates will be accepted. Anything sent to WiebeTech at a higher shipping rate will be charged back to the customer or refused, even if an RMA number is present on the package. All products will be returned to customers by Commercial Carrier Ground unless the customer makes other arrangements and is willing to assume expenses.

Return shipping to customer: WiebeTech will ship repaired products by ground shipment at no charge. Ground shipments are usually delivered in 3-5 days. If the customer requests 2nd day or overnight shipping, those costs will be charged to the customer.

Outside the continental United States, customers will be responsible for all shipping, Duties and Taxes. We encourage the use of our resellers and distributors listed on the "Where To Buy" pages on our web site.

Advanced Exchanges

WiebeTech, at its discretion, may issue an Advance Exchange for a product purchased directly from WiebeTech and is deemed faulty or in need of repair or replacement during the first 14 days from the invoice date and that is within the continental United States of America.

A valid credit card must be authorized for the full price of the product sent as replacement before the product is shipped. If the original product is not returned within 14 days, the credit card will be charged.

Shipping Costs

Customers are liable for shipping costs unless arrangements are made in advance. If WiebeTech agrees to pay for shipping costs, only Commercial Carrier Grounds rates will be accepted. Anything sent to WiebeTech at a higher shipping rate will be charged back to the customer or refused, even if an RMA number is present on the package. Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty Statement

Revised October 19, 2007 effective immediately


WiebeTech products are warranted by WiebeTech against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a specific period of time (listed below) from the date of purchase from WiebeTech or its authorized dealers.

Warranty period:
  • 3 years for any of these products sold after August 24, 2007: ProSATA SS8, RT5, RT5x2, RT5E, RT5Ex2, SIS5-UR, and all RTX RAID products with four or more bays
  • 2 years for any forensic write-blocking products
  • 2 years for any product sold in Europe
  • 1 year for all products not included in the categories listed above

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, WIEBETECH MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION OF THE WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, WIEBETECH SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO CUSTOMER OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY LIABILITY, LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY BY USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF TIME, PROPERTY, REVENUE, OR PROFIT OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF WIEBETECH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some states do not allow the limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
In the event of a product defect during the warranty period, obtain return approval from WiebeTech prior to product return. WiebeTech will, at its option, unless otherwise provided by law: (a) correct the defect by product repair without charge for parts or labor; (b) replace the product with one of the same or similar design; (c) refund the purchase price. All replaced parts and products, and products on which a refund is made, become the property of WiebeTech. New or reconditioned products may be used in the performance of warranty service. Repaired or replaced products are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. You will be charged for repair or replacement of the product made after the expiration of the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable to acts of God, abuse, accident, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, failure to follow instructions, improper installation or maintenance, alteration, lightning or other incidence of excess voltage or current; (b) any repairs other than those provided by WiebeTech or its authorized representatives; (c) consumables such as fuses or batteries; (d) cosmetic damage; (e) transportation, shipping or insurance costs; or (f) costs of product removal, installation, set-up service adjustment or reinstallation.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
